Sport is an increasingly important social phenomenon with multiple implications for the relationships among people and their social relationships. Therefore, it is important to resize physical education and school sports, overcoming the resilient dualism that makes the direct and indirect influences of sports practice secondary.


It is urgent to widen the boundaries of sports in the school environment and to go beyond the traditional sports, looking for new forms of motivation and social interaction through recent and attractive exponentially immersive outdoor sports.


Fostering the widespread practice of sports at school age is fundamental for society, and it is equally important to engage in regular physical activity to fight sedentary lifestyle and childhood obesity, diseases that have been spreading massively over the last decade.


This educational course aims to provide participants with recent and innovative intervention tools regarding physical activity and sports. Leaving the standardized school environment and going outdoors topromote the practice of physical activity unusual environments, thus mobilizing and retaining students and preventing early school leaving.
